NEWPORT BERMUDA RACE 2018
We left those shores in Newport under canon fire. Ballistics gave the time to the sea for the voyage, 800 miles or so across those deep waters of the Atlantic Ocean toward the lonely island of Bermuda. Five days, five long days we navigated through the gulf stream’s Eddys. First through black and then to royal blue, the sea began to warm. At night the Milky Way rose in the south holding Jupiter, Saturn and Mars inside galaxies, like sugar cast across the sky.

“All men dream: but nor equally, Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds wake in the day to find that it was vanity: but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act their dream with open eyes, to make it possible.”
